Noted for their distinctive "eyes" that follow you around a room, bowls from Monkey Puzzle trees are difficult to obtain. The eyes are caused by branches aligned in a radial pattern, characteristic of the trees. The trees occur naturally in Chile and Argentina but were brought into Canada's west coast as an ornamental curiosity about 80 years ago. This bowl can be purchased as a set with #'s 71 and 73.
