The distinctive "eyes" of the Monkey Puzzle trees are often small or lacking in small bowls because they are cut near the centre of the log. The tree occurs naturally in Chile and Argentina but were brought into Canada's west coast as an ornamental curiosity about 80 years ago. This bowl can be purchased as part of a set with #'s 71 and 72. Measurements for this bowl are maximum size, some bowls will be slightly smaller.
